I participated in the INFORMS 2015 poster competition.
I was really happy to hear about the work done in wide range of disciplines. It was a great event and very well organized.
There were more than 170 accepted posters. I was initially selected as a semifinalist (I think there were about 15-20 of us), and then I presented my poster twice to different judges. Made it to the final (there were 5 finalists). There were two groups of 5 judges and I presented separately to them as well. They selected and awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Our work had the honor to get the first place!!!
